450g cold mash (leftovers are best)
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 packet of Carroll’s Crumbed Ham
85g plain flour
1 large diced onion
1 knob of butter and 1tbsp oil
Salt and white pepper
1. Place the mash into a large bowl.
2. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Add in the red onion and diced ham.
4. Add in the egg and stir in the flour kneed for 2-3 minutes.
5. Shape into large round and place into a frying pan with the oil and butter.
6. Cook until golden on both sides.
